Student Leadership Assembly 2025

A huge thank you to The Honourable Stephen Bates (Federal Member for Brisbane), The Honourable Tim Nicholls (Minister for Health and Ambulance Services & State Member for Clayfield), Mr Trevor Evans representing the office of Cr Andrew Wines (Enoggera Ward), Mrs Bri Fjeldsoe (P&C President), to the 150+ parents, carers and family members who joined us, and to our school staff and students for helping make Monday 17 February a very special occasion for our wonderful student leaders.

Our 2025 Student Leadership Assembly was an opportunity to present the following Student Executive Leaders and School Councillors with their leadership badges for 2025 in front of our school community.

We are greatly looking forward to taking our 17 student executive leaders to the Halogen Young Leaders Day, which will take place on Monday 24 February. This help expand their leadership vision and skills before embarking on a number of projects across the school this year.

Well done Windsor State School Swim Team- 5th Overall- Brisbane City Districts Swimming Carnival & Representative Swimmer Selections

On Wednesday 12th February, 37 talented young swimmers represented Windsor State School at the Brisbane City Districts Swimming Carnival. With dozens of schools from across the city competing, finishing in 5th position overall is a wonderful achievement for our team. A huge thank you to Mr Farrell, Mrs Adhikari, Parents and Carers for assisting in taking our team to the carnival and to all parents and carers who support their student’s involvement in sport more generally. It is always great to see Windsor SS students enjoying healthy and active lifestyles. Congratulations to Laura K, Georgia K, Archie G and Vivienne M who have qualified to represent the City Districts at the Metropolitan North Swimming Carnival. Good luck! A big congratulations also to Laura K for recently representing Metropolitan North at the state Aquathlon Championships.
