Across the Principal's Desk
As we wave goodbye to our string of long weekends, I hope you all had a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy some family time. It sounds like camping was a popular choice—my family included! It truly makes my day when I hear students excitedly share their weekend adventures with their teachers and friends. Those little stories remind us just how special our community is.
A heartfelt belated Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers and treasured others who do so much, not just for your own families but for our Windsor family as well. I’m really looking forward to celebrating together at our Ladies Lunch this Saturday and hope to see many of you there!
Now, as we settle into the next six weeks of focused learning, our commitment to literacy and numeracy remains strong. We also balance these important foundations with a variety of creative and sporting activities which there are plenty of this term!
Last week, I had the chance to join over 180 principals from our Met North region for thought-provoking discussion on promoting excellence in state schooling. This is a topic close to my heart, and I’m proud that here at Windsor we continue to foster a culture where every child feels they belong, while holding high expectations for all.
Looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend
Yours in Education
