Reader’s Cup
One week to go until Reader’s Cup
Next Tuesday, two groups of five Year 6 students will head off to Reader’s Cup at Kurwongbah State School. The groups have been reading five selected novels over the course of this term and are ready to compete against a large number of teams from around Brisbane. The morning is set up as five quizzes back to back for students to compete in. We wish them the best of luck!
Premier’s Reading Challenge
Completed Premier’s Reading Challenge forms continue to come in which is great to see! Once they’re completed, they can be added to the black box next to the borrowing desk in the Library. If your child needs some inspiration, there are books on display inside the front door of the Library as well as Reading Challenge forms they can complete at home or at school.
Overdue Books
Thank you to the students who have been hunting around their homes for overdue Library books. We LOVE receiving them, please keep looking for them and return them to the Library as soon as possible. We’ve had at least 50 returned in the last week, keep them coming in!
