Year 3-6 Track and Field Carnival- Overview of Events
On Thursday 19th June and Friday 20th June (Week 9 Term 2), we will be holding our Year 3-6 Track and Field Carnival at Windsor Park (near the bowls club).
The following will outline the order of events over the two days:
- Thursday 19th June
- 800m Races from 9:30am
- Field Event Rotations (Discus, High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump) from 10am-2:30pm
- Friday 20th June
- 200m Heats and Finals from 9:30-11:00am
- 100m Heats and Finals from 11:15-1:30pm
- Relays 1:45-2:30pm
We thank all of the parents who indicated that they could assist with our championship field events on Thursday 19 June and also welcome parents to come, attend and help our where possible on the day.
We will be setting up marquees and other equipment from 6:30am on each of the mornings, and would very much appreciate any extra muscle-power during these sessions- please feel free to drop in to assist if you would like an early morning exercise opportunity!
**No student can attend the Athletics Carnival without having their QParents Consent Forms completed**
