We are still sweeping up the confetti and popcorn after last week’s three incredibly successful performances of Madagascar Jnr – The Musical.

It was a joyful and satisfying experience to watch our students shine after literally months and months of preparation. The humour, the dance moves, the costumes, the voices and the talent and camaraderie between all students, both on and off the stage was wonderful to see.

It is more than a musical, it is a reflection of our school community.  Signature events such as our biennial musical have been hard fought for to establish and maintain at Windsor. It has been through dedicated staffing, expertise, student interest, and wide community support in place, that enable such an exciting opportunity at our school.

Mrs Fanning, Mrs Free, Mrs Fernie, Mrs Moores have been leading the logistics of musical excellence for a number of years, with a long list of supporting staff and parents joining the team each year. Ms Stephanie Arthur - choreography, Mrs Kellie Robertson - lighting, Mrs Amanda Cooper - photography and videography, Mrs Pinches -programme design, Mrs Mel Stone, Mrs Amelia Coleman, Mrs Anna Mills, Mrs Amanda Vincenzi - hair and make-up artistry, Mrs Catherine Oliveri- costumes design, Mr Peter Logan – sets. The list goes on.

Thank you to our P&C Arts Supporters Group, an ever-emerging team of dedicated parents, who know the value of The Arts.  We acknowledge Katy Bell for leading the team this year, including Loreta Porteli, Michelle Williams, Dan Crestani, Sally Wicks, Casey and Bec Germaine, Rowan and Bec Kamp, Lee Anning, Cecelia Coggins, Kirsten Trenton, Masako Pont, Anna Nichols, Vanessa O'Connell, Katrina King, Jane P, Kimberly W, Dianna H, Whitney K. I am conscious that there are numerous names not listed here and I wish to sincerely thank all parents for their contributions to our 2025 Musical.
