Sometimes we have fruit snack in the garden. Students had a blast creating apple slinkies! Using fresh apples grown, red and green, we sliced them into fun, spiralled treats that are both delicious and eco-friendly. This hands-on activity not only encouraged healthy snacking but also highlighted the importance of growing and enjoying local, sustainable produce. It’s a sweet way to learn about nature, nutrition, and caring for our planet!

In our sustainable garden, fallen leaves aren’t just yard waste, they’re valuable compost material. Students are collecting leaves to create nutrient-rich compost that helps feed our plants naturally. This eco-friendly practice reduces waste, enriches the soil, and supports a healthy garden ecosystem. It’s a simple way to turn nature’s leftovers into something amazing!
