2025 Music Extravaganza
On Thursday 27th November, Windsor State School hosts our end of year Music Extravaganza concert.
The Windsor SS Music Extravaganza will showcase the following instrumental ensembles and choirs:
Junior Choir (**in a special dusk performance** - see details below)
Senior and Chamber Choir
Junior Band
Senior Band
Beginner Strings
Intermediate String Ensemble
Senior String Orchestra
Guitar Ensemble One

A Special Note for Junior Choir
Our Junior Choir performance will not require ticket purchase. They will perform at a special time of 5.10pm in the Hall. Junior Choir families are then very welcome to stay and join for supper which follows at 5.30pm (see information below). We request our Junior Choir performers to wear their formal or music uniform and meet Mrs Fanning and Ms Haas in the Hall at 5.00pm. This dusk performance does not require any ticket purchase unless also intending to enter the hall for the concert at 6.30pm, as may be the case for those with older siblings performing
Information for all other ensembles:
WHEN: Thursday 27th November
WHERE: School Hall
TIME: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
PERFORMERS: Meet in the Year 5 classrooms at 6:00pm to tune up and warm up.
SUPPER: 5:30pm – 6:15pm
- For those who wish to join for supper, please bring along a plate of savoury food to share with the performers and parents/carers. Food that is easily distributed individually is best suited. Please note that all students are to be supervised by parent/carers at this time.
- From 5.30pm performers will be able to have their supper. Once the performers have collected their supper, then all parents, siblings and other supporters are invited to also enjoy pre-concert drinks and supper.
- Performers need to meet their teachers at 6.00pm to be tuned and warmed up.
TICKETS
- Entry: $5 seat - performers do not need a ticket.
- Drinks may be purchased from 5:00pm (water, soft drink, beer or wine)
Entry tickets will be available for purchase online via QKR! in the coming weeks. A reminder that for those parents/family members planning only to attend the Junior Choir performance, you do not need to purchase a ticket.
UNIFORMS
Performers are to wear the music polo shirt as well as white socks, plain black shoes and blue/white hair accessories.
P&C ARTS SUPPORTERS RAFFLE
Your assistance is requested to donate a suitable (shelf-stable) food item for our Gourmet Hamper Raffle. Suitable items may include crackers, dressings, sauces, spreads, chips, nuts, chocolate, sweet biscuits, cakes, tea, coffee beans, vouchers.... etc. Please leave hamper donations at the school office by Wednesday 26th November. Tickets can also be purchased on QKR! once ticket sales open.
